The Balvenie 40 years of age: it's a celebration!

Rich and complex, the limited edition 40 year old expression of The Balvenie is available at La Maison du Whisky, for the greatest pleasure of single malt enthusiasts! Malt Master David Stewart has selected and mixed rare whiskies from The Balvenie Distillery in order to create an amazing single malt aged in sherry casks. « For this 2^nd edition of the Balvenie 40 year old, I meant to create a single malt light in sherry, with soft floral notes, David Stewart explains. This single malt offers a roundness thanks to smooth vanilla, buttered fudge and fresh fruits. » This amazing Balvenie 40 year old is a powerful single malt but only 150 bottles will be available in the world, 10 in France. The first edition of The Balvenie 40 year old already won gold medals at prestigious competitions (IWSC and ISC) in 2010. This new edition should come in as a reference single malt.
