La galerie Perception Park invite à découvrir l’exposition « Welcome To »

Perception Park, studio de création fondé en 2011 par l’artiste Célia Nkala, inaugure un espace d’exposition dédié à la création contemporaine et à l’objet de Design, situé au cœur du Quartier Latin dans les murs d’une ancienne librairie. Depuis ses débuts, Perception Park poursuit une réflexion autour de la vanité de l’objet et du Design « non-utilitaire » à travers l’édition de pièces uniques et de séries limitées : productions mixtes, conjuguant démarche artistique, recherches formelles et techniques artisanales. Cette activité est aujourd’hui enrichie par l’association et l’exposition d’une sélection de jeunes artistes internationaux, tous médiums confondus, dans l’objectif de définir les contours d’une esthétique et d’une pratique résolument contemporaines. Pensée comme une plateforme de recherche, Perception Park a la volonté de favoriser les mouvements d’idées, de multiplier les points de vue et d’observer les glissements de frontières qui s’opèrent entre les disciplines artistiques.

Perception Park, creative studio founded in 2011 by the artist Celia Nkala, inaugurates an exhibition space dedicated to contemporary creation and to the Design object, located in the heart of the « Quartier Latin » built within the walls of an ancient bookstore. Since the beginning, Perception Park pursues a reflection on the vanity of the object and on the useless Design, through the edition of unique pieces and limited series : mixed productions combining artistic approach, formal research and craft techniques. This activity is now enriched by the association and the exhibition of young international artists, all forms of expression are brought together, in an attempt to define the contours of an aesthetic and a resolutely contemporary practice. Conceived as a research and exchange platform, Perception Park has the will to favours movements of ideas, to multiply the points of view and to observe the slidings of boundaries between artistic disciplines.
